Suddenly showing too much pressure by tightening the lace too tight can pinch the skin very hard, and this can leave marks of bruises on your skin. For some people, these bruises may go after a couple of days, but it can become a painful instance for some. Hence, you should start tightening the laces slowly. Tighten Moderately:
The very first thing that you need to keep in mind is to tighten the lace moderately at the back of your corset. It should not be too tight or should not be too loose. The basic thing is that you should not tighten the lace too hard at the first go itself. You can start tightening the corset only after the corset has got seasoned properly.
-
The First Few Days:
In the first few days, say around 2-3 days, you should wear the corset for a smaller period, say 2-3 hours a day. You can make a particular schedule when you will be wearing the corset. You can wear the corset for approximately 2-3 hours daily at the same time.
-
Increase Time Gradually:
After the first 2-3 days, you have to start gradually increasing your time of wearing the corset. This will be like increasing the timing every 2-3 days. If you were wearing the corset for 2 hours for the first 2-3 days, now you can increase it to 3 hours for the next 2-3 days. You need to keep on increasing the time in this way slowly so that the corset can appropriately sit on the contours of your body.
-
Start Tighten the Lace:
It is ideal for wearing a corset for at least 8-9 hours a day. When you have reached out to that level, now it is the time to tighten your lace. Now, you have to do it daily. For the initial 2 hours of the day, you need to tie the lace moderately. Now, keep on tightening a bit after each 2-3 hours throughout the day. Slowly, you can remove the gap, such as tightening the lace more than moderate in the starting hours and then can tighten the lace completely by the mid of the day.
Seasoning of the corset is actually training the corset to work on your body without getting damaged. It is a soft and gradual process. Once the seasoning is done, the corset will offer the best results to your waist training process.
